This World

I write this as I wait for the ink in my APES lab book to dry so that I can start on my next page.

As I look around at my peers, I see a fall of innocence and purity. Let's get all archetypal here. But really, it's crazy. I say that it's a result of our modern day society and culture that blares at us to go out and drink, have premarital sex, do drugs, and just live in the here and now. Parties seem to be grabbing everyone's attention. It seems like every other person you meet does drugs. These sorts of things would have been shunned not too long ago. Our world has become so corrupt and we have become overtolerant. We have become too open minded. Not that open mindedness is bad, in fact, I believe that it is very important. It's just when we start compromising left and right, saying "Oh, this one time won't hurt." So, how does one keep his ways pure? I bet it's hard for most of you. Personally, my morals that have become a part of the foundations of who I am. I don't want to get all religious, but I feel that that has a fairly large role in my morals and beliefs. Now, I am no better than any of you and I'm not trying to take on a condescending tone. But I challenge you. Do the right thing.

That's just what's on my mind today. Time to get back to my lab book.
